MAD CUTTER ENACTS MADCAP ESCAPE FROM MARSHALS

There has been little news of the Mad Cutter since December, with the human butcher disappearing after his savaging of Henshaw. Now, it appears that he has finally reemerged in chaotic fashion to the west of St. Louis - and the Marshals are helpless to stop him.

“There’d been people coming by all month,” said farmer William Haysworth, age 14. “First those two sisters came begging for any food we could spare, then the Southern man and the two hunters came by asking questions about the sisters. When I saw two men in those blue Marshalmen outfits, I figured something big was going to happen, so I snuck out with a lantern while my dad, mom, Sophie and Ez [sic] slept.”

“I lost track of the Marshalmen at first, they were using their Marshal techsits [sic] instead of proper lights, but then I heard the screaming and just followed that. They were being attacked by demons! Small imps, big heaving brutes, smelling of sulfur and brimstone! And then, the middle of it all, I saw a wagon tearing out of there, heading towards St. Louis. They had a demon pulling it, like a horse’d been broken apart and put back together blind. I think it was walking on two legs for a few seconds. And the Marshal was running after it, just as fast! I just hid until everything went quiet and I ran back home.”

“It is the position of the US government that demons, should they exist, cannot be summoned to our plane of existence with the current knowledge available,” said M.A. Alfred Leberecht, representing Marshal 24. “Any reported sightings of such creatures are most likely misidentified woodland creatures, or entities brought from the American Indian traditions.”

Regarding the other information provided by Mr. Haysworth, Leberecht had this to say: “The investigation into the Henshaw incident is still in progress. The Marshal is taking the necessary steps to ensure that civilians are not impacted by our actions or those of persons of interest. Please be responsive if a Marshal’s assistant tells you to vacate the area.”

Again, any attempt to get true answers about what the Marshals are doing, what they’re hiding, have been kept from us in the interest of order and safety. This is what the Reconstruction brings to our fellows in the South and the West. Will Henshaw ever find justice for what the esteemed and vaunted Negro race has done to them? Only time will tell.
